Skills: Schools of Magic Each school is its own separate skill. Specializations will apply to certain spells within said school. Each school costs 7 SP/level, except for Destruction, which costs 8 SP/level. Magic skills take the place of Power Usage rolls as well as defending/attacking with spells. They are: Destruction - Attack spells, often elemental in nature. Specializations: Evoking, Directing, Dissolving, Exploding Restoration - Healing and repairing. Specializations: Wounds, Poisons, Diseases, Loss Alteration - Changing shape or physical properties. Specializations: Natural, Unnatural Thaumaturgy - Summoning and conjuration. Specializations: Summoning, Creating, Controlling, Dismissing Necromancy - Manipulating life-force and spirit substance. Specializations: Life, Spirit Enchantment - Adding lasting or permanent magic to an item. Specializations: Weapon, Armor, Wand, Other Alchemy - Imbuing liquids with magic. Specializations: Poison, Potion Mysticism - Miscellaneous, metamagic, the weird shit. Specializations: Explicable, Inexplicable
