[GAME START. MOSTLY.] ( Okay, resolved. ) ( I think ) ( ? ) ( Better living through loud cursing. ^_^ ) ( ::chuckle:: ) You are once more gathered within the library of the wizard Morrolan, who is apparently a friend of Ada's. Most of you are here; you don't know where Fyril's gotten to. * Nebrinel looks around suspiciously. She looks a lot more angry and nervous than she did out in the mountains, and has one hand on her old sword-o-plague. The library is lavishly appointed, and has lots of books, not surprisingly. It also has numerous groupings of comfortable chairs arranged so that groups of people can sit and talk with one another. You occupy one such grouping of chairs right now. A well-dressed lady enters and says, "The Lord Morrolan shall arrive soon to meet with you. In the meantime, would you like wine?" (Well? Would ya'... punk?) (Feel free to start, now. ^_^) (Who ya callin' a punk?) Nah. Never touch the stuff. * Sei bows. "Not for me, thank you." * Ada blinks at Ethan and Sei, then shrugs and turns to the lady. "Well, I'd appreciate some." * Nebrinel looks at the lady. "I could use some as well." "Is there any particular label you would wish to have?" * Ada shakes her head. "I'm not feeling very picky right now." * Nebrinel yawns. "Something good, I'm sure you know what you're doing." * Ethan shrugs at Ada, and talks in near monotone. "Thirty-seventh rule of Urikian soldiers: Never partake in any substance which might diminish thine fighting capacity in the least, lest thou find thyself brutally mangled on the field of battle." Never was much for military rules, but that one always made sense to me. *grin* * Sei nods. "I've just seen too much." * Ada snickers. I suppose. It would get in the way if you find yourself in a situation where you have to drink, though. The lady bows respectfully and leaves silently. * Ethan chuckles. "I'll burn that bridge when i come to it." * Nebrinel pulls out the new blade, and strokes it carefully. (Next episode; Ethan Gets Roaring Drunk.) I'm sure you will. * Ada eyes Nebrinel, then stretches and settles in her seat a bit better. ( Do you *really* wanna see Ethan roaring drunk? =P ) (Come forth, Pretzels of MAYHEM!) * Ethan idly munches on an apple, then notices 6 others in his lap. "... apple, anyone?" * Ada blinks. Now it's providing for all of us? ...yes, please. And then some... well, good thing I wasn't thinking of watermelons. * Nebrinel huhms to herself, and stands to examine some of the rest of the library. * Ethan hands Sei and apple ( -d ) * Sei munches on it. "Thanks." Ah... well, I'm not going to complain. Sure. * Ethan hands Ada an apple. Nebrinel? * Ada grins at Ethan and takes a bite out of the apple. * Nebrinel waves Ethan off dismissively. *shrug* Okay, then. More for me. *munchmunch* At this point, Morrolan strides into the room. He is tall, and dressed almost entirely in black. He is, by Elven standards, quite handsome. "Good Evening. I trust your journey was tollerably rewarding?" * Ada stands and bows to Morrolan. "Very much so. I think I informed you about the Great Weapons earlier?" * Ethan nods. "I found out a little about my glaive... not much, but something." * Sei nods. * Nebrinel turns around and peers at Morrolan in an appraising manner. Morrolan nods. "Indeed you did. I apologize for the delay; I was held up by a duel that I had to attend." Ah. Watching or participating? Morrolan smiles. "Participating, naturally." *** Yu-Mei is now known as Morrolan (/me makes this easier on himself.) You win? * Morrolan sniffs. "Naturally." * Morrolan turns to Nebrinel. "I do not believe we have met." * Ethan grins. * Ada snickers. You are probably correct, as I don't remember meeting you either. * Ada looks from Morrolan to Nebrinel, then settles back in her seat. ( "People call me... Tim." ) * Morrolan smirks and bows. "Morrolan, House of Drien. And you are?" * Nebrinel bows to Morrolan, he is a noble after all. "Nebrinel Amydien." * Morrolan nods. "A pleasure to meet you, Nebrinel." He turns to the rest of you. "And it is good to see the rest of you again. So, what did you learn on your little trip today?" * Morrolan moves over and has a seat. (Soon, the lady returns, carrying a tray with a bottle of wine and three glasses upon it. She sets the tray down on a table in front of Morrolan, bows, and leaves.) * Ethan explains what he was told about his glaive. "Not much, but it's a start." * Ada sighs. "Ethan has the beginnings of a Great Weapon. So does Nebrinel. And so do I, in fact." She fingers her pendant. * Morrolan raises an eyebrow. "Interesting. I have never known so many of them to be found together since the First Era." * Ada tucks some hair behind one ear and nods. * Morrolan hums. "So, I assume you're going to go out in search of the rest of the pieces?" We've already found what I think is the second part of mine. Nebrinel is carrying it. * Ada smirks. "Well, I intend to find the rest of mine." Ah. And I assume something interesting has happened to keep you from putting the pieces together? * Ada nods. I'd like to find the rest of my glaive, yeah. Carrots of Justice and all. They... attacked each other. * Morrolan stares blankly at Ethan, and then at Ada. "Attacked each other? ...and I'm not going to even ask about the carrots." * Nebrinel walks forward to the table, and pours herself a drink, since everyone else seems too busy 'talking'. * Ethan grins and gives the thumbs up. Yes. I can demonstrate, though it might end up in someone getting a blade stuck into them. (/me is about to pour the wine, but Nebrinel beats him to it. ;_;) (HAW HAW HAW.) (o/~ I wanna get drunk more than youuuu doooo o/~) Quite. That would be rather unfortunate. ( c.c; ) * Ada grins. "So, do you know anything about it?" * Nebrinel picks up her drink and retreats once more to behind the chairline, standing and sipping her wine and listening. * Morrolan hums. "I have never heard of any such occurrence. ...I don't suppose H'w'dfrjaanci gave you any idea of where you might be able to find the pieces you need?" * Ada shakes her head and reaches forward, pouring herself a glass. "He just identified the weapons in his strange Serioli tongue. It was too hot to continue the conversation further." * Morrolan nods. * Morrolan stands. "Well. I shall go and attempt to find some information that might be helpful. Perhaps the rest of you ought to discuss strategy for the time being." * Morrolan stands and bows. * Sei bows. (/me stands twice! That takes talent, y'know.) * Ethan bows * Ada stands and bows. * Nebrinel looks up at Morrolan. "Might you be keeping some pieces to yourself? H'w'dfrjaanci suggested that some nobles would." * Morrolan shakes his head. "I already have a complete Weapon. I have no need for pieces." "I shall return to you shortly, hopefully with some names that could be helpful." Thank you. It is most appreciated. * Ethan nods. * Morrolan turns and strides out. * Nebrinel glances to the sword at Morrolan's hip as he walks out, and sighs. So... strategy... we wander around until we trip over the pieces? * Ada sighs and sits back down. (Good idea, Ethan! :D) * Sei considers. Eh. Morrolan will probably point us in a likely direction. * Ada sips her wine. "Failing that, sure, we can wander around aimlessly." * Nebrinel snorts. 'kay. *sips juice* (JUICE XD) I've been wandering around aimfully for years. I don't look forward to doing it again. * Ethan strokes his goatee. "Sometimes, such is life." In the distance, a gong sounds. * Nebrinel frowns. "Maybe your life." * Ada looks over at Nebrinel. "Well, we *could* start bothering elven lords for their collections, and see if any of those match. But I doubt they'd appreciate it." (Wow, lag spike!) * Nebrinel shrugs. "Who said we had to bother them? And if Morrolan's logic is universal, which I severely doubt, we could eliminate current Weapon holders." * Ada shrugs. "I don't think it's universal, either." * Nebrinel takes another sip of wine. "Finding other of the Serioli, and their unused weapons posts is another fine option, since they don't seem to have problems with letting them lie around." * Ada nods in agreement. * Ethan chuckles. "No way things're gonna be that easy. I'd be willing to bet that the pieces of mine are guarded by rabid produce or something." ... (::chuckles::) * Nebrinel shrugs. "You could also look for 'incidents'." ... although, honestly, I'd personally rather not encounter frothing lettuce... * Nebrinel looks at Ethan oddly. "To use your example, if there ever was someone who took over places with 'frothing lettuce', that would be a place to start looking." Maybe *your* piece, Ethan. Well, yeah. One doesn't encounter aggressive greens normally. Or, as I believe I mentioned earlier, suspiciously wealthy produce merchants. That'd be a definate tipoff, yeah * Ethan looks at his glaive. "I wonder what's missing..." * Nebrinel pulls out the New weapon and looks at it in appraisal, muttering, "It needs a name, and my old one's got it's real name now." (You all feel the blade's hunger as Nebrinel pulls it out. o/~) * Ethan hrms. "My family always referred to mine as Solomon's Deadly Glaive... good enough name for the time being, I suppose." *** Ada has quit IRC (Ping timeout ) (Pause.) *** Ada has joined #YeOldeChibiRPG (Unpause.) *** Morrolan sets mode: +v Ada * Nebrinel shrugs. "Well, unless Ada has any better ideas, I think I'll just dub it the Hunger." * Ada eyes the blade. "Well, it will be something along the lines of 'Godslayer' when it's complete. But Hunger works nicely for now." (And I accidentally hit the enter key, but it actually works this time. :P) * Ethan mutters. "She gets Hunger/Godslayer and Plague Bearer, and I get The Caterer..." * Nebrinel chuckles, and sheathes it. "Hunger it is, then." She takes another sip of wine. * Ada grins at Ethan. "With a name like that, you know you won't go hungry." * Ethan grins. "Small favors." * Nebrinel turns back to the library, and examines a different part. * Ada settles back and sips her wine. * Nebrinel snorts and puts the book back. "Well rounded is one thing, but you'd think he'd have some interesting books here." * Morrolan strides back into the room. "Hello, again. I have a few names of people who might have some choice pieces." * Ethan looks up. "Hmm?" * Ada opens her mouth to reply to Nebrinel, then blinks and looks up at Morrolan. "You do?" * Nebrinel turns away from the flowry books to look at Morrolan, and takes another drink of wine. "Three names. First is Friyas, a wizard who has gained so much renoun that he has started his own House within his lifetime. The only other person to have ever done this was Kieron, and he had the rather distinct honor of having forged the Empire." (Truly, his name shall reverb throughout history. ^_^) * Ada nods slowly. "I feel that it is very likely that he has, at the very least, pieces; it is likely that he has a complete Weapon as well, however." (Dong.) Is he friendly? That would depend on whom you ask. I happen to think that he is a dispicable old bastard, myself. * Nebrinel chuckles. * Ada snickers. * Sei nods. Ah. That bodes well.' * Ethan grins. "But heck, if it were easy, what fun would that be?" * Morrolan smirks. Next on the list is a man named Sergeant, which name led to some confusement when he was in the military, since he never reached a higher rank than corporal. * Nebrinel chuckles to herself some more. * Sei blinks. * Ada sips her wine. "Figures." He was a good soldier who enjoyed being a soldier, but one day decided to quit the fighting buisness to study sorcery. This surprised everyone since, to put it bluntly, Sergeant was rather stupid. Mmm hmm. I know the type... lotsa dumb grunts back home. No sense of humor, either. He apparently wound up being remarkably good at it, but later dissapeared after he was swindled by a man claiming to be developing a device that could duplicate animals. * Ada rolls her eyes at that. "So we don't know where to look for him, then?" He could still be living at his old abode, but people haven't heard from him in a long time. * Nebrinel yawns. The last of the first three I came upon has no known name, but is said to be living in a mountain in the Ironwall chain. The mountain, whether by natural causes or human design, bears a striking resemblance to a lion. ( Thunderbase! =P ) He is said to be an undefeatable master fighter, who is so skilled that he defeats his opponents with kitchenware. ... (x.x) ... that sounds promising. If rather absurd. I don't think it needs to be said that this would normally be quite impossible. Since Ethan here has a weapon that summons produce, it would not surprise me one bit if one of it's pieces were a spoon or fork. * Nebrinel sips. "Sounds like Ethan's sort of guy, I think." * Nebrinel huhms again to herself. Undefeatable, eh? * Ethan grins... That is all I have at the moment. I have my staff working on looking for any other clues, but it could be a bit of a search. * Nebrinel frowns. Well, it's a start. Thanks. *bow* (Okay, I just got a five minute ping.) (Ping?) ( PONG. ) (Pong.) (Whew. ^^;) * Sei nods, and bows. "Thank you very much." * Ada sighs and nods. "I suppose we'll start with this, then. Where can we find the other two?" Friyas lives in a rather large palace on top of a large hill some hundered miles or so northeast of Elnohfey. The presumed former adress of Sergeant is in the hills of Adrilanha. *** Ada has quit IRC (Ping timeout ) (Pause. Take a stretch-break, people.) (Chuckle.) *** Ada has joined #YeOldeChibiRPG (Still paused.) (Oooh! Stretch break!) *** Capfox is now known as Fyril ( reArd ) (Woo hoo! ^_^) (Maybe this'd be a good time to read backlog? ^^;) (If you like. :P) (Ten o'clock. It's JUICE time. XD) (JUICE! XD) (juice. x|) (JUICE! XD) ( SNAPPLE! ) (Waiting for Capfox. Then we resume. ^_^) (DONUTS.) ( I'm sorry, those are not valid answers. ) ( But JUICE is expensive, and I have $2 to my name. ;_; ) (juice. x|) ( Then I shall donate JUICE, that you might have some. ) ( $2 can play 8 games of KoF! ) ( But then I'd have $0 ) (Depause.) ... so where do we go first? Well, they're all to the northwest a ways. There is some commotion outside the doors to the library. The doors open and a pair of large, armed men in Morrolan's livery walk in, dragging Fyril with them. * Ada nods. "The Ironwall Mountains are closest, though." * Ada blinks. ... oy. ...oh, dear. One of them says, "We caught this thief in your bedroom, Lord. He claims to know you, although I've never seen him before." * Nebrinel looks at Fyril, and chuckles to herself. * Fyril waves to the group, and struggles a bit. "Of course I know him! We talked a lot the last time we were here." ... you're really bad at this stuff, aren't you? Morrolan raises an eyebrow and smirks. I mean really, *really* bad. * Fyril glowers at Ethan. "Way better than you've realized, I'm sure." * Ada rolls her eyes. * Nebrinel shrugs. "Even a master thief has a difficult time stealing from a lord's manor." Well, you're 0 for 3 in the time I've known you... But then, maybe it's just bad luck. * Fyril nods at Ada. "I got her flute. And hey, I got the trading post open, no problem." Or that the watchful eyes of the Potatoes of... Watchfulness, I suppose... are upon you. Either way... * Morrolan chuckles. "Let the boy go, Fentor. He won't be trying to steal anything from my abode again." He glares evil death at Fyril. "Will you?" * Fyril sinks down into his shirt. "No, of course not. You're Ada's friend, right? I realize that now. No more stealing." * Sei grins. "He can give it up any time he likes." * Morrolan smiles. "That is well. Please, come have a seat." * Ada grins at Sei. The guards let go of Fyril, bow to Morrolan, and leave the library. Cookie, Fyril? *holds out cookie* * Fyril fixes his shirt, settles himself down into his boots, stands proudly, and walks to a seat. "That's fine, Ethan, but no." He runs a hand over his hair. * Ethan shrugs. "Suit yourself." *munch* * Morrolan hums. "So, who would like to fill our young friend in on what has been happening?" * Ada shrugs. "I'll do it." * Fyril turns to Ada and waits for the explanation. Morrolan went and looked up people who would likely have pieces of the Weapons. One is Friyas, a powerful wizard. Another is Sergeant, someone who left the military to go into sorcery. And the last is a weapon master who fights with kitchen utensils that lives in the Ironwall Mountains. (that -> and) * Fyril raises an eyebrow. "That last one sounds like a perfect match for Ethan. They could open a restaurant." ( There's a scarry thought. ) * Ada sips her wine and nods. "I think he's very likely. And he's also the closest one, so we'd might as well head there first." (Heh. ^_^) Of course, you'll have to find him first. Of course. We'll just look for corpses with their organs spooned out or something. ^_^ ... * Morrolan shrugs. "It is a rather distinct mountain that he is supposed to live in. I can have someone bring a map of that region, if you'd like." Could you? That would be helpful. * Morrolan nods, and concentrates for a bit. "One is on it's way." * Fyril shakes his head. "That is the strangest thing I've heard from you since I've met you, Ethan, and that's saying a lot." Strange is my middle name! * Nebrinel taps her foot, and frowns. I wouldn't be surprised. ... well, actually it's Jerimiah... but nonetheless! * Ada finishes her glass and sets it down on the table. (The same well-dressed lady from before enters, bearing a long, rolled-up piece of parchment, which she presents to Morrolan. He thanks her, she bows and leaves.) * Fyril looks from her to the parchment curiously. * Morrolan undoes the leather strap holding the map closed and spreads the map out on the table. It is very well detailed, and shows the Ironwall mountains from a bit north of the Shardae border to the lower end of the western border of Kadesh. * Nebrinel puts her glass down, and frowns. * Ada tilts her head as she peers at the map. "About where would this lion-shaped mountain be?" ( Aww, you didn't fill in my homeland on the map on the AoC page, Yu. ;_; ) (Sorry, Ethan. :P) * Morrolan glances over the map, and points to an area on the map that looks rather like a crouching or prowling great cat. "Here it is. Not far into the range, luckily." * Nebrinel mms, and nods. * Ada nods as she looks from the tower to the area. "I see." * Ethan nods. "s'manageable." * Sei nods. * Fyril looks at it, and grins. "Looks like a nice place." * Nebrinel looks up from the map. "You know, as much fun as it would be to send all of us out to see the kitchenware master, it's probably not necessary." What are you suggesting, Nebrinel? * Ethan grins. "But how can you pass up the chance to see someone fight with a spoon?" That's gotta be a once-in-a-lifetime experience... something you can tell your grandkids about * Nebrinel looks over at Ethan. "As... amazing as that is, I'm sure, I suggest we split up instead." I dunno... if this guy's as good as Morrolan says... * Nebrinel snorts. "Do you think he's going to stand for an all on one fight for his weapon? Would you?" (I'll go ahead and say that if you guys wanna split up, it's fine with me, however you do it. ^_^) * Sei shrugs. "We may not have to fight him." If I was undefeated while wielding a spoon? I'd be pretty damn confident in my abilities, lemme tell ya. ^_^ * Fyril snorts. "Sure, he'll just give his hard won stuff over without a fight. If people did that, we wouldn't need thieves." * Nebrinel shrugs. "I still think our time would be least wasted by splitting up, perhaps the other half of us going after Sergeant's possible piece." 'sides... in general, splitting up is bad strategy. Divide your strength, leaves you more open to being overwhelmed, all that fun stuff. * Ada stretches. "I don't even know if he'd take Ethan seriously. I assume this is an elf we're talking about." * Morrolan looks distracted. "I beg your pardon, all of you. There is something I must go attend to." * Nebrinel frowns. "I don't think Friyas will be as easy, or willing a participant in our respective quests, the bastard." She waves absently at Morrolan. * Sei bows. * Ethan nods. "Thanks for all your help, sir." * Ada nods to Morrolan. "Thank you for your help." * Morrolan stands and bows. "If you need anything else, let Bellor know." * Morrolan exits. * Fyril nods deeply to Morrolan. "Thanks a lot, for everything, sir." He smiles broadly. *** Morrolan is now known as YuDaBoss (Awww. Well, to his back, then. ^^;) * Ada looks at the library doors, then shakes her head. "Anyway, Nebrinel's right. We would save a lot of time if we were to split up. Keeping in contact might be difficult, though." Like I was saying... it's faster, yeah, but we're not really in a rush. No sense increasing our vulnerabilities... * Nebrinel frowns. "I would be in a rush. A group of people walking around with pieces of Great Weapons is going to draw a lot of attention." Most of it undesirable. * Sei considers. "Need people know about it?" * Ethan strokes his goatee. "My mom used to tell me old war stories when I was a kid... anytime a group split up, they invariably got horribly slaughtered." * Fyril nods. "Yeah, no one really needs to know. It's not like you can sense them if they're not unsheathed. Anyone with the right abilities can likely feel it coming, Sei. But aside from that... When we decide to take on Friyas, I think the important people will get the picture. * Ada nods. Besides, if we're eventually gonna deal with this Friyas person, shouldn't we get familiar with each others talents? Know what we're all capable of before we walk into certain doom? * Sei nods. 'cause if we're prepared and can work together, certain doom's a tad less certain. *grin* *** YuDaBoss sets mode: +v Fyril * Fyril thinks for a bit, then sighs. "As much as it galls me to say it, I'm with Ethan. If they're going to know we're coming anyway, we should be together. And there's only one of us without at least one piece, so splitting up on those lines doesn't make any sense." There's two, actually. You and Sei. Unless one of you is hiding something. * Sei smiles. "Not that I know of." But then, Ada's the boss. I go where she goes, so... * Fyril rolls his eyes. "You did see all the daggers, yes? All of them gave off that weird feeling. I'm not hiding anything." * Ada snickers. "I think the rest are regular Morganti weapons, though." She considers. "Well, if Ethan's not going to leave me, and I can't let Nebrinel out of my sight..." * Ada turns to Sei. What do you think? * Nebrinel frowns. "I, for one, feel tagging along in the mountains is a waste of my time." ( "Is that a Great Weapon in your pants, or are you just happy to see me? ) * Sei considers. "I think it would be good to stay together." If Fyril and I got into trouble, there's not much I could do. Think of it this way. If I get the piece for my glaive, it'll make my glaive more powerful, which'll make me more effective backup when we go after your pieces, Nebrinel. * Fyril nods. "I don't think either me or Sei would really stand up very well in a fight, even together, with these guys." Plus, if we split up, you'd end up eating nowhere near as well. ^_^ Good point. * Fyril sniffs. "Speak for yourself. I can cook better than your weapon can any day." * Nebrinel rolls her eyes. "Lords, and I thought I was a whirlwind of death. You people don't think about anything but fighting your opponents." * Fyril eyes Nebrinel. "Look, if I knew exactly what I was looking for, I'd try stealing it, but I don't. If someone tells me, I'll be more in favor of splitting up." * Ada twirls her pendant around her fingers as she thinks. * Nebrinel chuckles. "That's why I come along with you, you see." * Ethan shrugs. "I've found that problems tend to go away when you hit and perforate them repeatedly." You and I could probably break into most anywhere you'd care to name fairly well. * Fyril smiles broadly, and his eyes sparkle. "I bet we could." * Nebrinel turns back to Ada. "So, how about it? Fyril and I go after anything Sergeant might have, you go after the Kitchenware Master, and we meet up to deal with Friyas." * Ada nods slowly as she untangles her pendant from her fingers. "I agree... however, I want you to give Hunger to Sei if we split up that way. I'm not *that* trusting." She grins. * Sei winces. * Ada glances at Sei. "Or Ethan," she adds. * Fyril pouts. "But not me?" Thanks. I'll carry it if I have to, but I'd rather not. * Nebrinel shrugs. "What could I do with it that I already can't do with mine? And nobody seems to like these things but me anyway." (Be right back.) (Pause, I think. You all need to be here to make the decision.) I don't know. But like you said, not everyone follows Morrigan's logic. Besides, if, through some chance, I find the rest of my Weapon, I'd like to finish it as soon as possible. (Morrigan -> Morrilan. I read too much Ultra in the past. ;_;) (...she called me *what*?) (I almost typed the same thing multiple times.) (*whistles innocently*) * Ethan shrugs. "If you want me to carry it, I will. I mean, what bad things could possibly result from carrying around a soul-destroying weapon?" ^_^ Can't imagine, Ethan. You could fall on it, of course. * Nebrinel looks at her hip. "This thing... is almost nastier than mine." (*cough* Lemme put it another way. Pause.) That'd be bad. I kinda like my soul undestroyed. (Okie.) (Sorry, back. ^_^;) (Unpause. ^_^) * Ada grins at Ethan. "Well, don't fall on it." I'll try not to. ( NO CRIT FAIL! NO CRIT FAIL! ) (Crit fail your walking roll?) * Nebrinel looks at Hunger, and shrugs. "It'll make it harder to see if it's a piece of yours, when we're looking." Goodness, Nebrinel. You did get attached to that sword in a short period of time. * Nebrinel grins ferally "The thought of sucking people's souls from their bodys in a two-sworded whirlwind appeals to me, what can I say?" * Ada snickers. "Borrow one of Fyril's daggers, then, if he'll let you." * Nebrinel shrugs. "Still. I'm no Serioli. It will be difficult." * YuDaBoss (Am I lagging, or did you guys go silent?) (I think we went silent.) (Okay. Just checking. ^_^) Soul sucking... eh, if it's all the same, I'll stick to good old-fashioned hacking and bludgeoning and stuff. * Fyril shrugs. "I can spare one of them, if you need it, as long as you give it back." (I was waiting for an Ada response for a bit. ^^;) I agree, Ethan. And it might be, but I'm sure you can manage. * Nebrinel shrugs. "Very well. It is your sword, after all." She detatches it from her belt. "So who wants the honor?" * Ethan holds out his hand. "What the heck." * Fyril sticks out a hand. "I wouldn't mind." He smiles cutely. * Ada grins at Fyril. "Sorry, but giving it to you would defeat the purpose. Ethan, you take it." * Nebrinel chuckles at Fyril. "I think the point was to get it away from me for now, more than anything." She then hands Hunger over to Ethan. * Ethan puts it in his pack. "There, nice and safe." * Nebrinel shakes her head. "What a waste of a fine weapon." * Ethan twirls his glaive. "I've got a finer one." ^_^ Some of us aren't particularly eager to destroy souls, you know. (Y'all wanna call it a session after you get everything settled?) (Probably, yeah.) ( Yup ) * Ada looks back at the map. "So. Where do we meet and when?" (Good idea. ^^) (Okay. ^_^) * Nebrinel shrugs. "Who said anything about 'eager'? It's a mere part of the game." She looks at the map too. Awww. It's not like I'd give it to her. Yeah, but you might give it to yourself. ^_^ (Suggestions, GM? ^^; How long would it take to travel to these places, and all?) The map doesn't show the whole of the empire. It ends about eighty miles east of Ironwall range. * Nebrinel chuckles darkly. "I don't think she trusts me not to kill you for it, Fyril." * Fyril looks at Nebrinel fearfully. "Um. You're not making me want to travel with you any more here." * Ada snickers. "Can you blame me?" (Well, it depends on where Nebbie and Fyril are going. If they're going to Sergeant's home, you can meet up in Elnohfey, perhaps.) (Elnohfey is a pretty big place. :P) ( Meet back here and regroup? ) (Yeah, but you could pick a speciffic inn, house, restaurant, whathaveyou. :P) (If you were to meet up at Castle Black again, it'd be almost twice the journey for Fyril and Nebrinel than the others.) * Nebrinel laughs. "Well, I suppose I play the part well." She looks at the map. "Well, since we'll go after Sergeant first... we'll probably want to meet midway between yours and ours, as close to Friyas as possible." ( Okay, nevermind... ) * Ada nods and grumbles something about needing a bigger map. That works. Meet in the town closest to Friyas, then? * Ada chuckles. "We'll be travelling in Elnohfey... this should be interesting." * Sei nods. * Nebrinel huhms, and walks back to the library shelves, picking out an Atlas and laying it down. "Well, let's see..." (I'll make one note; horses exist here, too. Wheather that makes things better or worse for you is your choice. ^_^) Oh, heck, Ada, we're only splitting up and wandering around hostile territory carrying pieces of powerful weapons that're desired by many. What could *possibly* go wrong? ^_^ * Ada facepalms. "We're doomed." There is a peal of thunder from outside. * Nebrinel snorts. "If that were true, I'd have died a long time ago." * Fyril nods. "I'm not going to feel doomed just because Ethan asks stupid questions." Don't worry, Ada! Despite the fact that you're walking blindly into a dangerous situation relying on people that you've just recently met, you can feel secure that you're safe!" ^_^_v * Nebrinel chuckles, and stabs her finger at the map, smiling. "Aah, Menevia. That'll work." * Ada groans. "Is it too late to kill you, Ethan?" She looks over at the map. * Ethan strokes his goatee. "Far, far too late." *cackle* There's a place called the Angry Porcupine there. Excellent inn. We can meet there. Ah. * Ada nods. "Sounds like a plan. Good." ( Enough about the Angry Porcupine! Get to the point! ) * Sei nods. You guys want one last song for the road? (NO.) No. I don't think they do. Really no. No, thanks. * Nebrinel stretches. "I think I can live without one." Aww... * Ethan shuffles off a bit, an overexaggerated pout on his face. * Ada laughs. "Sorry, Ethan. You've been overruled." [END SESSION.]
