* Ivy beelines toward the candy machines! She puts her hands tentatively on the 
glass, as if she's not sure how she can get to the fatty goodness.
[Jeremy tags along.  "So you don't need to go to the bathroom?"]
* Ivy points at the bright yellow M&M package dangling.
[It's empty!  Not a hall monitor in sight.  Yet.]
[Jeremy eyes the M&Ms with peanuts.  "Uh, Ivy, you know we can't eat in class."]
* Ivy turns to look at Jeremy, not looking at all like she knew that.
[He blinks.  "Well, we can't.  I dunno if you'd get in trouble for eating it in 
class."]
* Ivy looks thoughtful for a moment, and then points to a spot near the 
classroom door.
["Uh, we might get in trouble for that, too."  Jeremy rubs at the back of his 
neck.  "Aww, hell."  He starts digging in his pocket.]
* Ivy starts pushing random buttons on the machine.
[Jeremy laughs.  "You gotta put money in first."  He hands her three quarters 
and points out the slot.]
* Ivy takes the money, gives Jeremy a small smile, and then puts the quarters 
in!
["Okay, now you gotta put in the letter and number for what you want."]
* Ivy glances over to the M&M's, notes there's a letter and number, and even 
pushes the right buttons! Look, she's not brain damaged!
[This is why Ivy isn't in the Special Ed. room.]
<Ivy> (Yes.)
[The machine hums, and the yellow package falls to the ground!  It might have 
been injured!]
[Maybe even killed!]
<Ivy> (Oh dear!)
* Ivy watches the M&M's fall with interest. She then pushes the barrier door 
thing and grabs her prize! She pulls her hand out, M&Ms in hand, and sniffs the 
package.
[It's chocolatey.]
* Ivy opens up the package and pops an orange M&M in her mouth and crunches! She 
then offers the package to Jeremy to take one.
<Ivy> (Be bad, Jeremy!  Eat chocolate during class!)
[He does!  He's so bad!]
[And he eats it, too!  OH NO!]
<Ivy> (He's in trouble now!)
* Ivy pops another in her mouth and then heads back to class!
[Jeremy goes with her.  "Uh, maybe he will let you eat in class."  He looks 
puzzled.  "I dunno."]
